Cayla has been in private practice since 2016 and has gained valuable experience with many populations and conditions. Dr. Steven Smilkstein is established in private practice for over 15 years and is passionate about active lifestyles and patient management in all forms of life. Dr. Steven established his first multi-care approach and hands-on practice of injury management from 2010 and has continued to incorporate multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation for patients of all ages and lifestyles.
His love for all sports has taken him all over the world to work in international sporting events such as, World Masters Hockey 2009, The World Games (IWGA, Wroclaw, Poland 2017) International Power Lifting world championships (IPF), the Jiu Jitsu world cup JJIF, Beer Sheva, Israel (2023) and the FISU squash world cup (2024). Dr. Steve is also passionate about education and hold many positions such as the International Chiropractic Sports Federation (FICS) as a member of the Education Commission and an active educator for the Camara Institute for Chiropractic Sciences on the Philippines. He also holds an instructor position for Dynamic Tape™ and was affiliated with the University of Johannesburg as a lecturer of Biomechanics from 2012 to 2023.
His passion and love for movement helps him encourage patients to live healthy lifestyles and manage their injuries with confidence.
